Dr. Mini Kahlon, Vice Dean for Strategy and Partnerships, is responsible for turning vision into strategy to guide the Dell Medical School in achieving its mission in education, research and clinical innovation.
“The real business we are in is reinventing health care. How we think about clinical care and the business model of health care to get more aligned with where the world is heading. Those are the things that keep me up at night, and they’re good things.”
She also revealed a hidden talent:
“I’m a classical pianist and took the Royal School of Music exams to the top level. I wish I could play more. My first big purchase when I got to America was a Peavey electric guitar that had a small amplifier built into the case. I was really into Jimmy Page [of Led Zeppelin].”
